Editorial Methodology
How we compare.
C3RT publishes comparisons and buyer's guides that include our own apps. That is a conflict of interest, and the only honest way to handle it is a method you can check. This page is that method.
Every claim is researched live, never from memory
Before we publish anything about another provider, we research their current public materials directly: their official website and pricing pages, their App Store and Google Play listings, their published guarantee terms, and, where sites block automated access, archived snapshots of their own pages. We do not source competitor claims from reviews, forums, or recollection. Where a fact cannot be verified from the provider's own materials, we either say so on the page ("not published") or leave it out.
Every claim is dated
Prices, question counts, and guarantee terms change. Every comparison page states when its competitor facts were verified ("as of July 2026"), and we re-verify on a scheduled cadence, roughly quarterly, and before each new app launch. If you find something out of date, we want to know: use the contact page and we will correct it.
Competitors get their real strengths
Every comparison lists what the other product genuinely does well, pass guarantees we don't offer, live instruction we don't provide, platforms we don't support (C3RT is Apple-only; several rivals serve Android and the web). If a competitor is the better choice for a certain kind of candidate, the page says so. Recommendations that hide the trade-offs don't survive contact with Reddit, and they shouldn't.
Our own numbers come from our apps, not our marketing
Every C3RT figure in a comparison, question counts, flashcard counts, audio lessons, calculators, is the same published number shown on that app's page and verifiable inside the app's free tier before you pay anything. Pricing is always shown as the complete tier ladder (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and lifetime where offered), not a cherry-picked figure.
Where we rank ourselves
In buyer's guides, C3RT takes the top spot only where a verifiable, published metric supports it, usually content volume and included study formats, and each guide names the specific role every alternative wins (best guarantee, best live instruction, best for Android). Every pick links to a full side-by-side comparison so you can check the work.
Corrections
If any claim on this site about another provider is inaccurate or stale, contact us and we will verify and correct it promptly. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; no certification body endorses C3RT or any product we compare.
